Manchester United has agreed to sign Benjamin Cesco from RB Leipzig

Manchester United and Newcastle United have concluded weeks of intense negotiations and a bidding war after the Slovenian striker expressed interest in joining the Red Devils. United are reportedly matching the Magpies’ offer, and according to recent reports, it appears to be sufficient.
According to Romano, the Red Devils have reached an agreement with Leipzig for Cesco’s permanent transfer to Old Trafford this summer.
Rubén Amorim has secured a much-needed prolific striker, with the transfer expert claiming Cesco’s transfer fee is £65 million, plus £7.3 million in add-ons.
According to reporters, the 6-foot-5 forward has agreed a five-year contract with the club after expressing his interest in joining the 13-time Premier League champions.
Romano added that Cesco has been given permission to fly to Manchester tonight to complete a medical and sign relevant paperwork, with the necessary formalities expected to be completed on Friday.
Agreement
Manchester United’s dismal performance last season, scoring just 44 goals and finishing 15th, made reinforcements at Old Trafford crucial.
With no Champions League participation next season, Ruben Amorim will be under immense pressure to deliver a significantly improved season, ideally securing a top-six finish and potentially a trophy.
Manchester United has already bolstered its attacking XI with the additions of Mateus Cunha from Wolves and Brian Mbemo from Brentford.
Now, with the arrival of Benjamin Cesco, the Red Devils will soon have a formidable attacking trio, with Bruno Fernandes closely behind them.
As the main striker, the 6-foot-5 Slovenian will thrive alongside the creative talents of his teammates. Fernandes created 91 chances last season, converting 10 of them into goals, leading the Premier League. Mbemo ranked fifth with 70 chances created, while Cunha ranked 15th with 57, highlighting the supply lines Cesco could benefit from in the upcoming Premier League season.
Amorim will have the opportunity to field his new attacking trident against Arsenal in their Premier League opener, leading them to their first win in six matches and extending their opening match win streak to an unprecedented 23 games.
