Manchester United has set its sights on this talented goalkeeper

In a recent interview with Give Me Sport, renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Manchester United has set its sights on Royal Antwerp goalkeeper Sené Ramens. Romano stated:
“The focus right now is on the midfielders. The goalkeeper is also a possibility, and Ramens from Antwerp is still on the shortlist.”
Should Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim sign Ramens?
Ramens is excellent on the ball and can use his quick reflexes to pull off some impressive saves for his team’s defense. He is often able to clear the ball when being chased by opposing attackers.
The 1.93-meter-tall Belgian star is a dominant force in the penalty area. However, if Manchester United successfully acquires him this summer, he may struggle to adapt to the high-intensity Premier League games.
Ramens will undoubtedly add more depth to Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim’s defense. He will replace André Onana, who had an inconsistent season for Manchester United last season.
At 23, Ramens is in his prime, making him a perfect fit for Amorim’s long-term development needs. Furthermore, he could help Manchester United return to the Premier League and compete for a Champions League spot in the coming years. All things considered, Amorim should go all out to bring Ramens to Old Trafford this summer.
Ramens’ Rise in Belgian Football
Ramens attracted considerable attention last season with his impressive performances for Royal Antwerp in the Belgian First Division. He made 44 appearances for the Belgian club, scoring 56 goals and keeping 10 clean sheets across all competitions.
The 23-year-old has proven his worth as one of Belgium’s top goalkeepers. However, if Manchester United successfully signs him this summer, it remains to be seen whether he can replicate that success in the Premier League.
His current contract with the Belgian club expires in the summer of 2027, which could make it difficult for the Red Devils to sign him on a budget this offseason.
