Premier League giants approach Real Madrid about Rodrigo transfer

Real Madrid has been waiting all summer for an offer for Rodrigo. Although Real Madrid contacted the Brazilian player earlier this summer about joining Arsenal, there has been little concrete progress. This situation appears to have changed.
Rodrigo was previously linked with Arsenal, but interest appeared to have waned following the arrivals of Noni Madueke and Victor Giocheres. Meanwhile, Liverpool is considered Rodrigo’s top destination and has instructed his agent to inform the club. It appears that the door to a potential transfer for Rodrigo has been opened.
Rodrigo on loan?
According to The Times (via AS), Arsenal is considering a loan move for Rodrigo. Now, indyKaila reports that the Gunners have held talks with Real Madrid on terms and hope to reach an agreement. Both Arsenal and Liverpool have contacted Real Madrid to see if they are willing to sign Rodrigo on loan in the summer of 2026, but with an obligation to buy.
Paris Saint-Germain’s Prospects
Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano also emphasized that Paris Saint-Germain could rekindle its interest in Rodrigo. If Liverpool fails to sign Alexander Isak, PSG’s Bradley Bacora would be on their shortlist. If he leaves, Rodrigo might become an option for Luis Enrique’s side.
Romano stated that there are currently no ongoing negotiations between PSG and Real Madrid, or between Liverpool and PSG, and that the final outcome of the talks will depend on whether Liverpool’s transfer for Isak is successful.
