Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are competing for Real Madrid striker Brahim Diaz

Tottenham Hotspur has more room for attacking development, and Thomas Frank is expected to add significant depth to the team’s squad, given their Champions League campaign this season.
According to Caught Offside, Tottenham Hotspur is interested in signing Real Madrid striker Brahim Diaz. Arsenal has also recently expressed interest in the player, and Mikel Arteta is eager to add a versatile player to his squad.
Brahim Diaz has been a key player off the bench for Real Madrid over the past few seasons. He has won numerous trophies with the team, including the Champions League and the Premier League with Manchester City.
The Moroccan international’s versatility is particularly important given his ability to play as a winger, central midfielder, and attacking midfielder, despite spending most of his career as a substitute.
Brahim could leave at the end of August
Brahim Díaz’s transfer could be completed by the end of August, depending on his role in Xabi Alonso’s plans for Real Madrid in the early weeks of the 2025/26 season.
It remains to be seen how much the former Leverkusen manager is willing to prioritize Díaz, which could determine his future at the Bernabéu.
According to Transfermarkt, Díaz is valued at £35 million, so if Arsenal or Tottenham Hotspur are able to secure his signature, it could represent a relatively good deal for him.
Gunners manager Mikel Arteta has already worked with the player at Manchester City, so they may have an advantage in the race for the player.
Xabi Alonso is expected to use only two strikers, with Kylian Mbappé and Vinicius Junior as the starters, while Arda Güler, Brahim Díaz, N’Dric, Gonzalo García, and Rodrigo Goes will compete for playing time off the bench.
