Reporters Daniel Feliciano and Dean Jones recently reported that Tottenham Hotspur has set its sights on Manchester City winger Savinho. It is reported that Spurs are eager to sign the Brazilian winger this summer.

Will Savinho be a good fit for Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank?

Savinho is an excellent dribbler and capable of making some runs down the wing. He’s capable of a powerful shot from long range and can create some excellent chances for his teammates in attack.

The Brazilian star primarily plays as a right winger, but can also operate as a left winger or attacking midfielder when necessary. He already has some experience in the Premier League and is well-positioned to immediately play a significant role if Tottenham can sign him this summer.

Savinho would add pace and firepower to Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank’s attacking line. He could even help the North London club qualify for Europe next season.

The 21-year-old Savinho has the potential to be a future Premier League star if he continues to improve each year. Therefore, he would be a perfect fit for Tottenham’s needs in the long term.

Savinho has excelled in the Premier League

Savinho has recently enjoyed a strong season for the Manchester club, contributing numerous impressive performances in the final third. The 21-year-old scored three goals and provided 13 assists in 48 appearances for Manchester City in all competitions last season.

The Brazilian star averages 2.8 shots per game in the Premier League and is a reliable contributor in the opposition half, with a 38.2% shot accuracy. Savinho also boasts a relatively good pass completion rate of 80.8% in the English Premier League.

His current contract at the Etihad Stadium expires in the summer of 2029, making it difficult for Tottenham to sign him on the cheap this offseason.
